Featured Trip: Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with Adventures Within Reach
The epic Inca Trail is the most famous hike in South America. This trip through Adventures Within Reach starts in Cusco or Ollantaytambo and returns to Cusco after five spectacular days. Along this five day route you will have many amazing experiences but our favorite happens on the second day. You’ll get to follow the winding Inca Trail up the Cusicacha Valley, pass houses of settlers before reaching the Andean community of Huayllabamba. From here you’ll really get to put all that stair master training to work and ascend steeply to a large pampa (meadow) below the first pass. At the second night campsite you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking view of Mt. Huayanay.
